1970s Prinknash Abbey Pottery Turquoise Cup and Saucer Made in England

Vintage Prinknash Abbey Pottery cup and saucer with beautiful turquoise color and glaze.

The Prinknash Abbey Pottery was founded in Grahham, Gloucestershire in 1942 by Benedictine monks that found a seam of clay during some building work. The monks continued to make pottery at the abbey until 1997 when the pottery was sold to the Welsh Porcelain Co.
